Miss Heather Alane Rosine Weds Mr. Michael Eben Drifmeyer

Miss Heather Alane Rosine and Mr. Michael Eben Drifmeyer were united in marriage on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at six o’clock in the evening at La Cervara in Portofino, Italy. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Tiago Barroso. After dinner on the terrace, a reception followed in the Agrumeto, citrus grove. On the eve of the wedding the bride and groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at Da I Gemelli in Portofino.

The bride is the daughter of Connie Rosine of Strasburg, Illinois, and Frank Rosine of Gays, Illinois. She is the granddaughter of Betty Rosine and the late Mr. Charles Junior Rosine of Strasburg, Illinois, and the late Mr. Eugene & Gail Boldt of Stewardson, Illinois. The groom is the son of Jeffrey and Nancy Drifmeyer of Boerne, Texas and the grandson of the late Richard and Margaret Drifmeyer of Barnstable, Massachusetts, and the late Fred and O’leta Taylor of Stuart, Virginia.

The bride wore a couture gown designed by Oscar de la Renta of New York. The white overlay gown of corded Chantilly lace and silk tulle featured a fitted corset natural waisted bodice with sleeves. The full A-line skirt of soft ruffles fell into a circular sweep train. The bride carried a bouquet of lily-of-the-valley.

Bridesmaids were Leti Morales, Amie Sitze, and Blake Drifmeyer, daughter of the groom. The groom’s honor attendants were his son, Asher Drifmeyer, Mark Pauly, and Bruce Burgner.

Heather is a graduate of Stewardson-Strasburg High School, and Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Textiles and Drawing. Heather is currently a Marketer with Vitol in Houston, Texas.

Michael is a graduate of Round Rock High School, and graduated from the University of Texas, at Austin with a Bachelor in Business Administration degree and a Masters degree in Accounting. Michael is currently a Vice President with Vitol in Houston, Texas.

Following a honeymoon in Venice, Italy, the couple will reside in Houston, Texas.
