Taylor Morrison builds home for GHBA project

-

Taylor Morrison Houston is partnering with their long-time vendors and the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) to build one of two GHBA Benefit Homes this year. The Benefit Homes Project is a 38 year-old charity fundraiser that raised funds for two local charities. HomeAid Houston and Operation Finally Home are beneficiaries of the project.

Taylor Morrison recently began construction on their Rosebay floor plan in Grand Vista. This onestory home design is part of Taylor Morrison’s Chalet Series that offers elegant living within its 1,730 square feet.

The entryway leads to an open-concept gathering room and kitchen, that is the heart of the home. The formal dining room is designed for both large gathering or intimate dining. The master bedroom includes a French-door entry to a master bath featuring a vanity with dual sinks and a walk-in closet.

This three-bedroom home offers quality cabinetry and countertops, top name energy-saving appliances and design options that include a bay window and sitting area in the owner’s suite, a fireplace in the gathering room, a study conversion, bathroom upgrades and the ability to expand the garage with additional storage space or third-car space.

“When we were approached by GHBA to participate in the Benefit Homes Project, we were quick to jump at the chance,” said Amy Rino, division president of Taylor Morrison Houston, Darling Homes Houston and Bonterra. “We have seen what an extraordinary difference this project makes and how it helps bring the community together around a very positive goal. W are excited to be a part of this 38-year old fundraiser.”

Taylor Morrison’s Grand Vista 45s community in west Houston is on 600 acres, 30 miles from downtown. The community includes 150 acres of parks, open space, and recreational amenities such as two community clubhouses and pools plus playgrounds for the kids.

With convenient access to Westpark Toll Road and Grand Parkway, Grand Vista is close to retail and entertainment, including the Katy Mills Mall, a 1.3 million-square-foot retail and entertainment destination with more than 200 stores, restaurants and a 20-screen movie theater.

Students who reside at Grand Vista can attend acclaimed Fort Bend ISD schools, 600 acres. Grand Vista is ideal for those looking for the big-cityexperience with the advantages of suburban living.

“The buyer of this Benefit home by Taylor Morrison will be thrilled to know they have purchased a beautiful home but also one that is going toward two valuable charities within the community,” said Cindy Hinson, chairman of the Benefit Homes Project. “It is a delight to work with such an outstanding organization.”
