Elyson offers lakefront living in Katy
Fourteen fully furnished model homes are showcased in Elyson’s Model Home Village.
Elyson, a community in the Katy Independent School District, has a 3,642-acre master plan that devotes more than 750 acres to parks, trails, recreation centers and natural open spaces. That acreage also includes many scenic lakes, creating prime waterfront homesites for new homes.
This summer, Elyson offers lakeside homes from five leading home builders, including Darling, Drees, Highland, Perry and Trendmaker. These builders have waterfront homes available for quick move-in this summer, part of more than 30 new homes available from all Elyson builders.
Located at Grand Parkway and FM 529, roughly halfway between I-10 west and U.S. 290 west, Elyson offers new homes priced from the low $200,000s to the $700,000s.

Martha Sellers, a Katy area Realtor who moved to Elyson last year, said that her family enjoys the views from their lakeside homesite.
“We have beautiful views of the sunsets every day. Along with the trails and open space, the lakes are one of our favorite things about living here,” she said.
