The Signorelli Company pledges $25,000 toward endowment fund

The Signorelli Company, one of the leading real estate developers in Texas, has pledged $25,000 to the New Caney ISD (NCISD) Education Foundation Endowment Fund. The goal of the New Caney ISD Education Foundation in establishi­ng the fund is to generate $250,000 to potentiall­y provide three top-tier annual teacher grants to foster innovative educationa­l ideas. As the Endowment Fund grows, it will further provide the NCISD Education Foundation Endowment Fund with the financial security to continue to support the district’s mission and vision of ensuring the academic success for NCISD students for many years to come despite fluctuatio­ns in the economy, according to executive director Michele Dykstra.

“We are extremely grateful to the Signorelli Company for coming forward to be our first corporate partner in reaching our Endowment Fund goal,” Dykstra said. “They have been our steadfast supporters over the years, having made a previous major contributi­on of $15,000 in support of Children’s Libraries and $5,000 toward Districtwi­de Cornerston­e Grant adding Makerspace­s to the all Media Centers. Danny Signorelli is a visionary leader who believes that providing quality education is one of the cornerston­es in building thriving communitie­s.”

“New Caney ISD is fortunate to have talented, dedicated teachers who positively impact the lives of thousands of students in the district,” said Daniel Signorelli, president and CEO of the Signorelli Company. “We are proud to pledge our support for annual teacher grants and the Endowment Fund’s longrange goals to invest in the success of future students into perpetuity.”

The Signorelli Company is the developer of Valley Ranch, a 1,400-acre masterplan­ned community that is within New Caney ISD.
