Local remodelers win Star Awards
The GHBA Remodelers Council congratulates our members for winning Star Awards at the recent Sunbelt Builders Show.
Building industry experts joined the 25th anniversary of the Texas Association of Builders Star Awards Ceremony on Aug. 9 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas.
The highly coveted Star Awards are given annually in conjunction with the Sunbelt Builders Show to recognize excellence in all areas of the home building industry.
Congratulations to Brandon Lynch of Keechi Creek Builders, who received a Texas Association of Builders Excellence under 45 Award.
This award is designed to acknowledge hard work, successes and to reward performance and dedication as well as to showcase recipients as future leaders of the industry across our state.
More than 500 entries statewide in over 75 categories were submitted for consideration for this year’s awards.
The Star Awards recognize the outstanding work of builders, remodelers, architects, designers, sales professionals, marketing professionals, construction professionals and industry leaders in Texas and the Southwest.
The coveted awards our members have received are as follows:
• Best Bathroom Renovation under $55,000 was awarded to Charanza Contracting Inc. and Chairma Design;
• Best Bathroom Renovation $85,000 to $105,000 went to Chairma Design Group and Sneller Custom Homes & Remodeling;
• Best Bathroom Renovation $105,000 to $130,000 was awarded to Keechi Creek Builders and Chairma Design Group;
• Best Bathroom Renovation over $150,000 went to Chairma Design Group and Matt Powers Custom Homes & Remodeling;
• Best Kitchen Renovation over $300,000 was awarded to Chairma Design Group and Matt Powers Custom Homes & Renovations;
• In the Best Outdoor Living Space categories, Texas Custom Patios received awards for under $60,000, $70,000 to $85,000, and $100,000 to $150,000;
• Best specialty room under $50,000 was awarded to Craftsmanship by John Inc.;
• In the Best Whole House Renovation category, Premier Remodeling & Construction took home the award for $600,000 to $700,000; and
• The Best Historic Renovation award was given to Premier Remodeling & Construction.
