Amanda Hansen has been named pres­i­dent of the new Hous­ton of­fice of Lou Ham­mond Group, a mar­ket­ing and pub­lic re­la­tions firm based in New York City. Hansen sup­ports an­chor client McNair In­ter­ests, which is de­vel­op­ing a mixe­dused project at Post Oak Boule­vard and Rich­mond Av­enue.

John Ar­cidi­a­cono has been named pres­i­dent and chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer of the John P. McGovern Mu­seum of Health and Med­i­cal Sci­ence.

Trial lawyers John H. Barr Jr. and John Allen “Jay” Yates have joined Pat­ter­son + Sheri­dan, a Hous­ton-based in­tel­lec­tual prop­erty law bou­tique.

Paul R. Ingram has joined Porter Hedges as a part­ner in the cor­po­rate and en­ergy sec­tions. Roger Bare has been named ex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tor the Art Colony As­so­ci­a­tion, the non­profit or­ga­ni­za­tion that pro­duces Bayou City Art Fes­ti­vals.

Al Odom has been ap­pointed by Mayor Sylvester Turner and the city of Hous­ton as chair­man of the board of the Mid­town Re­de­vel­op­ment Au­thor­ity/TIRZ #2. Odom is a com­mer­cial trial lawyer and found­ing part­ner of The Odom Law Firm. Lindy John­son has joined the Mont­gomery County Food Bank as the di­rec­tor of de­vel­op­ment.
