Galveston County slogged through wet weather last week, taking the brunt of flooding, even as some residents were still recovering from Hurricane Harvey’s wrath from last year. Tropical disturbances brought more wet weather through the Houston region and beyond, and Friday’s storms gave Galveston its wettest September on record.
