OUTDOORS REPORT

Inshore — The coast was a washout for most from Matagorda to Rockport. Almost 10 inches of rain fell overnight and in to the morning around Port Lavaca. Forecasts call for drier skies today and through the week.

Hunting — TThe teal opener was a wet one. Outfitters experienced mixed results. Guide Caleb Harp reported good shoots near El Campo. Guide Jason Brumley of Prairie Waterfowl reported good shoots in rice around Lissie and East Bernard.
