Taylor Morrison sells GHBA Benefit home for charity

-

Taylor Morrison Houston recently announced the sale of its 2018 Greater Houston Builders Association Benefit Homes Project home. The project is a 38-year-old charity fundraiser that raised funds for two local charities. HomeAid Houston and Operation Finally Home are beneficiaries of the project.

Taylor Morrison built its Rosebay floor plan in Grand Vista, one of its communities. This one-story home design is part of Taylor Morrison’s Chalet Series that offers elegant living within its 1,730 square feet.

The home was still under construction when it was sold, which is a record for the Benefit Homes Project.

The home buyers were impressed that the Rosebay floor plan includes a broad entryway that leads to an open-concept gathering room and kitchen, which is the heart of the home. The formal dining room is designed for both large gatherings or intimate dining.

The private master bedroom suite is a sophisticated retreat that includes a bay window and sitting area, a French door entry to a master bath featuring a vanity with dual sinks and an ample walk-in closet.

The buyers were also delighted that this floor plan offered three bedrooms and quality amenities throughout. The cabinetry and countertops are custom-styled and the energy-saving appliances are top name. The design is rounded out by a study-conversion option.

“When we were approached by GHBA to participate in the Benefit Homes Project, we were quick to jump at the chance,” said Amy Rino, division president of Taylor Morrison Houston, Darling Homes Houston and Bonterra. “We have seen what an extraordinary difference this project makes and how it helps bring the community together around a very positive goal. Taylor Morrison recognizes the importance of giving back to the community, and we’re excited to be a part of this 38-year-old fundraiser.”
