Latitude Med Center, a 35-floor luxury apartment home community, is nestled between the towering hospitals of the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical complex in the world, and offers distinctive options for its residents.

This new development, located at 1850 Old Main St., offers a number of versatile living choices, amenities and other highly desirable features. Located in the heart of the Medical Center, Latitude Med Center is the ideal location for medical professionals and those seeking medical treatment.

Latitude Med Centers offers micro, one-, twoand three-bedroom choices as well as penthouses with ample parking and a high walkability component with the surrounding area. Best of all, residents can live in this prime location while enjoying an inclusive luxury lifestyle.

Latitude is the first of its kind in Houston to offer micro apartments for those looking for an efficient, luxurious living space, said Kristin Krohn, Latitude Med Center’s Senior Community Manager.

Micro apartment options are roughly a quarter of the high-rise units, averaging 445 square feet.

“We breached the market and are the first to offer the micro unit. A lot of people like the idea. It’s a place of refuge and within walking distance to work,” said Krohn.

The Latitude Med Center’s other choices with multiple bedrooms have gotten a positive response as well from new residents.

“The layout appeals to people,” Krohn said. “You can have a large bedroom and a double sink in the bathroom. They love the unobstructed view. There’s also a full-size, front-loading washer and dryer.”

Luxurious touches combined with convenience are a few of the pluses of this location.

Designer finishes and contemporary features are carefully placed in each unit to offer maximum comfort and relaxation. Walkabilty is evident is the unique access to public transportation shopping, dining and lifestyle amenities in the Med Center and Rice Village.

Coming soon is the connection to Medistar’s Intercontinental Houston Medical Center, currently under construction, through its lobby.

There’s no shortage of amenities as well.

Latitude Med Center has residents covered from head to toe, including a wellness destination with Cybex fitness equipment, a tire flip, free weights and Pilates. There’s also a spin/yoga room and massage room paired with the Soothe app to schedule a session.

Pets are welcome, and so is working from home. Residents can utilize stateof-the-art smart-home technology, conference rooms, private workstations, car-charging stations and a local bike-share program.

Latitude’s private and community amenities cover all the bases of entertainment and relaxation. The club room comes equipped with a pool table, bar, lounge and poker table. Residents can relax on the outdoor terrace or at the Sky Club with an outdoor kitchen, infinity-edge pool, cabanas and catering kitchen. Complimentary services such as 24-hour concierge and valet are also part of the offerings.

“We’ve provided for everything you need,” Krohn said. “We’re a hidden gem.”
