Fertitta Center will officially open its doors on Dec. 1, 2018. Sitting on the University of Houston campus located just minutes away from downtown Houston, this brand new state-of-the-art facility showcases as Houston’s most desirable multi-purpose destination.

Breathing new life into a historic venue, Fertitta Center has now been reimagined into an intimate theater-style seating experience, bringing visitors closer to live entertainment. The reconfigured seating bowl infused with 585 new premium seats, including sideline, loge and theater-style seating options provide the ultimate guest experience. New balcony sections offer a tremendous view of the floor and stage along with first-class amenities such as courtside club, sideline club and an array of fully integrated premium seating options that are now a part of the guest experience offerings.

With seating capacity at 7,100, Fertitta Center will also offer a new 5,400-squarefoot Sideline Club with an expansive open club only 12 rows from the floor (featuring 40 linear feet of bar service). New innovative technology features 975 square feet of videoboards at each baseline, 360 degrees of LED ribbon boards and 3D image projection capabilities. The facility will also offer full-coverage WIFI for all spectators on the concourse and in the seating area. The main concourse entries have been expanded with 15,700 square feet of additional space, expanding the footprint to further program additional concessionaire and merchandise vendors and support guest needs for external events.

While many first-class renovations are guest-driven, concerted efforts have taken place to exceed industry standards regarding facility inventory and production. Approved capital investments allowed the University to acquire key equipment including but not limited to a house stage, half-house & blackout curtains, plush seating chairs and various other inventory items pivotal to hosting external events. From concerts, family shows, sporting events and conventions, the Fertitta Center is aiming to thrive and compete in one of the busiest entertainment markets in the world.

Beginning in February 2019, the Harlem Globetrotters will be calling Fertitta Center their new home in Houston. Stay tuned for more major event announcements!
