Discover the excitement of Inner Loop living at Somerset Green

-

Discover Somerset Green, a gated community inside Houston’s Loop 610. Nestled on a 47-acres, the neighborhood is filled with European-inspired architecture, serene water features, and tree-lined sidewalks that create an oasis in the heart of the city.

After more than 20 years of residing in the Tanglewood and Memorial areas, accomplished restauranteur Bill Floyd and his wife, Charlene, were looking for a change. The pair are proud owners of a four-story chateau built by Toll Brothers and customized to include custom tilework, a wine room, and a fourth-floor fireplace by which to enjoy their view of the downtown skyline.

“Working with Toll Brothers to create our home at Somerset Green was a wonderful process. They were very accommodating, and we have been extremely happy with the final product,” Bill said.

The Floyds benefit from convenient access to I-10 and Loop 610, which offer proximity to Houston’s bustling restaurant scene, Washington Corridor, Memorial Park, Galleria and downtown. Having the Houston Design Center makes decorating a breeze and for an active lifestyle, miles of biking trails along Buffalo Bayou and White Oak Bayou are also located close by.

“We love the sense of community at Somerset Green and love having easy access to everything in the city,” Bill said.

A central Houston location doesn’t mean residents suffer from lack of ambience or space in the community.

Somerset Green residents enjoy guard-gated entry, manicured streetscapes, spacious dog parks with agility equipment, a lake and fountain, and canals flowing throughout. The community also boasts a resort-style swimming pool and amenity center for hosting poolside soirees.

“We knew that everything we were promised would be delivered and that has absolutely been the case. We could not be happier with our decision to move to Somerset Green,” Bill said.
