Toll Brothers donates homesite for GHBA charity

-

Toll Brothers, the developer of NorthGrove in Montgomery County, donated earlier this year a homesite for a 2019 Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) Benefit Home. The home is currently under construction by Chesmar Homes. Chesmar is building their Mesquite plan for this 39-yearold charity fundraiser. The beneficiaries of the Benefit Homes Project are HomeAid Houston and Operation Finally Home.

NorthGrove is located off FM 2978 in Magnolia, in southern Montgomery County. The community is conveniently located within proximity to The Woodlands while offering a more intimate small-town feel. It is also convenient to major employers, shopping centers, al fresco dining, and cultural centers.

The community design celebrates and elevates the natural beauty of the area that is a lush 12,000-acre park and trail system. It is one of Texas’ premier destinations for hiking, biking, canoeing, fishing and playing and is the perfect setting for a broad range of amenities.

There are 200-plus acres of preserved green space, hike and bike trails, natural waterscapes, luxury outdoor gathering spaces, three community lakes and a 7.5-acre recreation center called The Retreat. This center gets its name for the 9400-square-foot clubhouse that is a contemporary lodge design featuring numerous amenities such as a pool, a 24-hour fitness center, flex space for community classes, a children’s playroom, and indoor and outdoor entertaining areas.

“For Toll Brothers, it’s a great honor to contribute to the Benefit Homes Project for its meaningful cause,” said David Assid, Toll Brothers Houston division president. “It is evident by the tremendous success of the Project, that it truly makes a profound difference in our community.”

Chesmar is building its 2,746-square-foot Mesquite plan, a two-story design featuring four bedrooms with a fifth bedroom/study option, three full baths, walk-in closets, a game room, an island kitchen and a two-story open family room off the kitchen.

Each year, two to three homes are built for the Benefit Homes Project, with donated materials, labor and services by GHBA members. The homes are sold at market value and proceeds benefit the two local charities. The Benefit Homes Project has raised $11 million since it began.
