Dawn Smith has joined Martha Turner Sotheby’s Internatio­nal Realty as a broker associate. Smith has a keen eye for details and pays great attention to every aspect of the transactio­n.

Whether it’s a complicate­d inspection or a tough contract negotiatio­n, she employs her deep knowledge through all the steps treating the transactio­n as if it were her own. Smith will be working from the Galleria office.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene announced that Julie Gaenzle and Karen Jordan have joined the Champions sales office.

Gaenzle studied psychology and Spanish and worked as a pre-school teacher.

She also worked as an administra­tive assistant. Growing up, she spent a lot of time working in restaurant­s and sales, which allowed her to gain unmatched skills in customer service and sales tactics from an early age. She is bilingual, speaking fluent Spanish and English.

Jordan earned her degree in accounting and gained impressive experience as a business profession­al. Throughout the years, Jordan has bought and sold several residentia­l and commercial properties.

Native Houstonian Nathan Rhodes, who grew up in Bellaire and resides in Memorial Heights, has joined John Daugherty, Realtors as a sales associate. More than a decade of sales experience in the telecommun­ications industry has honed his customer service skills. He specialize­s in the Inner Loop, Bellaire, Heights, Garden Oaks, Montrose, Upper Kirby, Rice Military, Downtown (EaDo), and Energy Corridor neighborho­ods.

Desirée Jacobs has joined the sales team at John Daugherty, Realtors. Jacobs earned a bachelor’s degree in business communicat­ion from Eastern Oregon University.

Her passion for real estate fuels her mission to be the most helpful, resourcefu­l agent to clients that are buying or selling a home. She lives in the Uptown/Galleria area and specialize­s in her own neighborho­od, as well as in the West University Place and Upper Kirby communitie­s.
