Scouting the Rockets: The Rockets rank first in the NBA offensively and 29th defensively. … The Rockets have lost 12 of their previous 16 games in Miami but have won three of four against the Heat in the past two seasons. … Guard Russell Westbrook’s 11.4 points scored per game in the fourth quarter rank second in the NBA, trailing only Portland’s Damian Lillard. Westbrook’s 66.7 percent shooting in the fourth leads the top 15 fourth-quarter scorers in the NBA. … James Harden has had two games attempting 15 3-pointers without making more than two, having done that only one other time in his career. He is the first rookie to score at least 100 points through five games since Kevin Durant in 2007. Nunn is averaging 22.4 points while making 51.8 percent of his shots, 48.4 percent of his 3-pointers. … Third-year forward Bam Adebayo, playing 9.3 minutes more than last season, is averaging career highs in points, rebounds, blocked shots and assists.

Forward Jimmy Butler (left foot bruise) and guard Justise Winslow (lower back stiffness) are questionable.
