Scouting report: vs. Pelicans

Lately: The Rockets have won four of six games since their four-game losing streak after Friday’s win against the Mavericks. The Pelicans have a three-game winning streak, including a blowout of the Grizzlies on Friday.

Scouting the Rockets: With 128 points against the Mavericks on Friday, the Rockets moved to 17-2 this season when scoring at least 120 points. … The Rockets had 25 assists with seven turnovers on Friday, their best assist-to-turnover ratio of the season. … James Harden had six 3-pointers on Friday, more than in his previous four games combined, to lead the Rockets in scoring for the first time since Jan. 14. He became the first Rockets player with at least 35 points, 16 rebounds, six assists and four steals in a game since Hakeem Olajuwon in 1986-87. … Russell Westbrook has scored at least 30 points in nine of 10 games, scoring 28 in the other, to average 33.8 points on 53.1 percent shooting, 8.6 assists, 8.4 rebounds and two steals in that stretch.

Scouting the Pelicans: The Pelicans are fifth in net rating in the NBA in the past five games since Zion Williamson began playing. … The Pelicans starting lineup in that stretch – Lonzo Ball, Jrue Holiday, Brandon Ingram, Derrick Favors and Williamson – have outscored opponents by 28.2 points per 100 possession­s. … In the first five games of his career, Williamson has been the third player in NBA history to average at least 19 points while making more than 60 percent of his shots, joining Michael Brooks (1980) and Dan Issel (1976). He is averaging 19.2 points on 62.5 percent shooting. … Ball has had nine games with at least four 3-pointers. He had 11 games making four 3s in his first two seasons combined. … All-Star Brandon Ingram has averaged 31 points on 61.5 percent shooting and 10.5 rebounds against the Rockets this season. His average of 24.9 percent shooting is an increase of 6.6 points per game from last season. … Of players playing at least 20 minutes, Williamson and Favors rank fourth and fifth in offensive rebounding percentage. The Pelicans lead the NBA in offensive rebound percentage in Williamson’s five games.

Injury report: Rockets — Center Clint Capela (bruised heel), guard Gerald Green (left foot surgery) and center Nene (strained adductor) are out. Pelicans — Forward Darius Miller (right Achilles surgery) and forward Kenrich Williams (sore lower back) are out.
