Top Agents Celebrates 2019 Success at Award Breakfast

Julie Greenwood and Linda King honored Greenwood King Properties top producers, agents and staff, celebrating the company’s 35th year at the annual, company-wide breakfast held at Houston Country Club on January 21, 2020.

Opening the ceremony, Greenwood recalled the company’s beginnings. “1984 was the year Linda and I took a leap of faith and opened the doors of Greenwood King Properties. Most of you from those early years are still with us today. We had no idea how this would unfold over the next 35 to 60 years, but without a doubt this firm and all of you in this room have far exceeded anyone’s vision. You are truly a special group of people and together we create magic. We stand together and support one another through thick and thin. We’ve seen tough economic times, years with no inventory, but this company who sits in this room cannot be underestimated. We are the best, we are the most supported and supportive, we are powerful as individuals but together we are unbeatable.” The award ceremony began by honoring Heidi Dugan, Cathy Blum, Colleen Sherlock, and Sharon Ballas for their recognition in the 2019 Houston Business Journal’s

“Top 25 Real Estate Agents”. Next, the success and accomplishments of each of the company’s 64 top producers were honored in a video presentation entitled “2019 Houston’s Real Estate Best.” Rising Star awards were presented to Kate Cancelmo (Kirby), Tabatha Urech (Voss), and Jenny Puls (Heights).

In closing, Greenwood said, “Today is a day of celebration for Greenwood King Properties. We are proud of the fact that last year we successfully closed transactions in excess of $1,250,000,000. As we put the final wrap on 2019, we are excited at the prospects of what this new decade will bring. Congratulations to the 2019 Top Producers!
