Baylor extends streak to 20, holds off Oklahoma St.

WACO — MaCio Teague scored 24 points to lead five players in double figures for No. 1 Baylor, which stretched its winning streak to 20 games with a 78-70 victory over Oklahoma State on Saturday.

Mike Boynton Jr. was assessed consecutiv­e technical fouls and ejected from the game.

Jared Butler added 15 points for Baylor. Freddie Gillespie had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds, Mark Vital added 13 points for Baylor, while Davian Mitchell had 10.

Lindy Waters III finished with 16 points for Oklahoma State.

Cameron McGriff and Isaac Likekele each had 11 points.

KANSAS 60, TCU 46

Udoka Azubuike had 20 points and 15 rebounds as the visiting

No. 3 Jayhawks matched an NCAA record with its 31st consecutiv­e 20-win season, beating the Horned Frogs for coach Bill Self ’s 700th career victory.

Devon Dotson added 18 points and 11 assists.

Desmond Bane had 20 points for TCU (13-10, 4-6), which has lost five in a row. RJ Nembhard had 11 points and PJ Fuller 10.

Jermaine Couisnard scored 19 points and AJ Lawson 18 as the host Gamecocks used a big firsthalf run to put away the Aggies.

Quenton Jackson had 16 points to lead the Aggies.

TEMPLE 97, SMU 90 (OT)

Quinton Rose scored 10 of his 25 points in overtime, including the first nine without a miss and the host Owls rallied past the Mustangs.

Monty Scott finished with 22 points for Temple. Moore added 14 points and five assists.

Kendric Davis (23 points and 10 assists) led SMU. Tyson Jolly scored 13 points, and Isiaha Mike added 13 points and seven boards.

Josh Parrish had a career-high 21 points as the visiting Owls topped the Blue Raiders.

Trey Murphy III had 18 points and nine rebounds for Rice (12-13, 4-8 Conference USA). Chris Mullins added 16 points. Payton Moore had 11 points.

C.J. Jones scored 21 points for Middle Tennessee. Antonio Green added 19 points off the bench and Jo’Vontae Millner, also a backup, had 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Brian White scored 23 points off the bench and the visiting Demons beat the Huskies.

Nikos Chougkaz scored 16 points with 12 rebounds and Chudier Bile and Trenton Massner each scored 12 for the Demons (10-12, 7-6 Southland Conference).

Ian DuBose led Houston Baptist (3-18, 3-9) with 22 points, Benjamin Uloko scored 14, Ty Dalton 13 and Qon Murphy 12.
