Suzie Davis enjoys managing clients’ properties
Bernstein Realty is a multi-service real estate boutique, and one of its many services is property management by experienced professionals.

We handle all aspects of property management, including tenant procurement, credit checks, employment and rental history verification, make-ready preparations, rent collection, repair coordination, security deposits, and more. We manage a variety of properties for owners who live in town, out of town and overseas,” said Suzie Davis, a property manager with Bernstein Realty.
Davis has been in the real estate industry and a property manager since she graduated from college. She holds a broker’s license.
“I started working for a commercial developer, and transitioned into commercial property management and commercial asset management before I started managing residential properties,” Davis said.
She moved into the property manager role because she enjoys solving problems, working with budgets, and helping clients take care of their homes.
As people continue to relocate to Houston, many prefer to rent until they find the home of their choice, or due to only being here for one to five years.
Other people who are being relocated overseas for one to five years, downsizing, or moving to a larger home, may choose to keep their home as a rental property. Whatever a client’s situation, Bernstein Realty offers property management.
“We manage singlefamily homes, townhouses, and duplexes,” Davis said.
As a property manager, Davis is also the liaison between tenant and landlord.
“Our client is the landlord and again, our responsibility is to ensure the property is being wellmaintained. The tenant also has the right to live in a safe and healthy environment, so we ensure that the property is kept to a high standard,” Davis said.
For the owner, their property is often an investment, an outlay of personal capital. Owners want the quality and value of the home to be preserved, so it continues to be a valuable asset.
“I love what I do, I enjoy meeting new people and working with them regarding one of the most, if not their most valuable asset, their homes, which all of us at Bernstein understand this responsibility. This responsibility is an honor and we take care of these homes as if they were our own rental property — our homes,” Davis said.
