Luxury apartments are in demand in Houston
Luxury apartment rentals are in demand, and new complexes, midand high-rises are going up continually.
And one Realtor in particular is tracking and monitoring the market.
“My specialty is leasing luxury apartment rentals, and my teams’ main areas are Upper Kirby, downtown, inside the Loop and surrounding areas. There is a lot of inventory for clients to choose in different areas, such as two new high-rises in the Heights,” said Avi Sheleg, a Realtor with Douglas Elliman Real Estate — Texas.
Sheleg works hard and never quits, so clients can get what they are looking for. He is also known for being reliable and providing top-rated, personal customer service.
“It is rewarding to see clients happy, and know they found the rental they had only hoped for. Many times, clients are surprised when they get more than they thought they could on their budget,” Sheleg said.
Yet, professional leasing agents are able to make better deals for clients than clients would receive on their own.

“Today, there are many new properties and they are adding new details, such as technology, smart apartments, and upgrades,” Sheleg said.
Sheleg hails from Israel and is bilingual in English and Hebrew. He arrived from his home country in Houston six years ago for business opportunities.
In Israel he worked as a brand manager for one of the largest electronic companies in the world. Part of his job included sales, where he continued to hone his innate skills, such as caring for customers, providing personal attention, meeting clients’ goals, and other skills that transferred smoothly to real estate.
“I had always been interested in investing in real estate, so I obtained my licenses. Then I met someone who told me about the apartment rental opportunities, and it sounded interesting, so I went for it and love it. I love working with and helping clients,” Sheleg said.
Sheleg works with all clients in all price points, if they are looking for their first rental to top-ofthe-line luxury apartments.
With Sheleg staying on top of the rental industry, and continuing to track the market, he usually knows when apartments we be available.
Moreover, he and his team are moving into new-construction sales inside the Loop.
“Many of our clients that have renting apartments for years are now ready to buy, and they are looking at new construction. So, to continue helping clients, we are moving into new-construction apartment sales,” he said.
