Meridiana opens second phase of new homes.
Meridiana is more than a community of new homes, it’s a collection of waterfront settings, more than 20 miles of trails and 100 acres of treelined parks.
Located on Texas 288 south of Pearland, this community dedicated to education for all ages is now opening its second phase. It also offers outdoor learning labs where families can learn about the constellations, soundwaves, velocity and other principles of science.
In addition to new homes, Meridiana’s second phase includes the on-site Caffey Junior High School, currently under construction. Upon opening in fall 2021, the new junior high school will join the on-site Meridiana Elementary School and the adjacent Iowa Colony High School, opening fall 2022.
Like the community’s first phase, Meridiana’s second phase of new homes is accessible from Texas 288 via Meridiana Parkway.
The parkway is expected to open to Texas 6 by the end of this year.
Residents also enjoy unlimited access to Meridiana’s lakefront Oasis Village, a sprawling, resort-style setting with Cafe Sol, family pool and cabanas, lap pool, splash pad, fitness center, fishing pier and outdoor play area, all-weather ping-pong and foosball tables, shaded sitting areas and lush central lawn. Meridiana’s parks include basketball/ volleyball/ tennis courts, splash pads, baseball/ soccer/football fields and a 23-acre lake for catch-and-release fishing, kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding.
To experience the 2017-2018 GHBA Community of the Year, head south on Texas 288 from Pearland, take the Meridiana Parkway exit and turn left onto the overpass into Meridiana. Those heading north on Texas 288 can take the parkway exit and turn right into the community. Meridiana residents also enjoy shopping and dining options at Pearland Town Center, 10 minutes from the community.
