Kelley Austin’s work ethic benefits clients

Austin, a native Houstonian, is a graduate of Texas Tech University. After college, she returned to Houston and has lived in the Memorial area for 17 years, so she knows the area and schools well. She is also involved in many different organizations.
Prior to real estate, Austin worked in retail apparel for 15 years and owned a women’s dress shop in the Galleria area.
“That same entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic carries over into my real estate career,” Austin said. “And I’ve always had and continue to strive to provide great client service.”
Austin also had a homestaging business, Houston Home Tending. That experience has helped her in preparing clients’ homes prior to listing.
Before becoming a Realtor, 18 years ago,
Austin went to open houses to see how homeowners decorated and made their house a home.
Her main focus areas are Memorial, Tanglewood, West University, Spring Branch and the Heights.
Austin is known for her excellent customer service, organization, thinking out of the box, and her love of people. She is also known for being professional with strong people skills, trustworthy, knowledgeable of changing market conditions, strong communicator, honest, always available to her clients, and strong negotiation skills.
An award-winning Realtor, she has received many honors and awards. For example, she has been one of the top 10 Realtors and in the Circle of Excellence Hall of Fame, both at MTSIR.
“The award I am most proud of is my Client Experience Rating, which is 4.98 / 5.00 scale. Clients rate Realtors that are based on competency, market knowledge, communication and overall experience,” Austin said.
She also has continued her education to ensure her clients receive the best possible service. For example, she is a Certified Negation Expert.
“I feel a true sense of satisfaction when I find my clients their dream home or when I sell my clients’ home. I love what I do and there is nothing like the real estate industry,” Austin said.
