Kathryn Elizabeth Turnham Weds Graham Hamilton Brown

Kathryn Elizabeth Turnham and Graham Hamilton Brown were married in an intimate ceremony with close friends and family on July 18, 2020 at Omni Barton Creek Resort in Austin, Texas. Mr. Jonathan Micah Knox officiated their sunset service. Terra Vista String quartet provided music for the ceremony and Mr. Nate Miller performed as soloist. After the ceremony, a second line parade guided the guests to a cocktail reception on the terrace followed by a night of dining and dancing to Professor D band. The bride and groom made their exit through a shower of white sparklers.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Crews Turnham, Jr. of Houston. She is the granddaugh­ter of Mrs. Mona Turnham and the late Mr. Robert Crews Turnham of Shreveport and Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Gomez, Jr. of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Elizabeth DuVall Armes of Austin.

The groom is the son of Mr. Brady Hamilton Brown of Amarillo and Mrs. Kathleen Ross Stephens and husband Mr. Thomas Pendleton Stephens of Wichita Falls. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hamilton Brown and Mrs. Dwight Moody Ross, Jr., both of Wichita Falls.

The bride was escorted down the aisle on the arm of her father and presented in marriage by her parents. For her wedding, the bride selected a beautiful and unique couture gown designed by Mira Zwillinger. The soft tulle gown, with an illusion buildup, was embellishe­d with laser cut vine and blossom embroidery. A sprinkling of delicate feathers topped the capped sleeves to add to the beauty of her gown. Kathryn carried an allwhite hand tied bouquet of white ranunculus, white majolica spray roses and light mixed greenery.

Assisting the bride as matrons of honor were Mrs. Hutton Hipps Beckcom, Mrs. Mary Martha Bauman Hesseler and Mrs. Lauren Reynolds Turnham, sister-in-law of the bride. Bridesmaid­s included the groom’s sisters, Miss Alline Catherine Brown and Miss Julia Clair Brown, Mrs. Brighton Keller Butler, Mrs. Sarah Atkins Frazier, Mrs. Sydney Mafrige Kerns, Mrs. Rebecca Brown Kluttz, Mrs. Molly Schubert McDonald, Miss Camille Marie Moughon, Miss Kathryn Elise Williamson, Mrs. Turner Holt Wilson and Mrs. Margaret Arnot Zimmerman.

Attending the groom as best man was his cousin, Kirkland Baird Taylor. His groomsmen included Mr. Reaves Austin Ashley, Mr. Glenn Arlen Ballard, III, Mr. Ian Christophe­r Beckcom, Mr. William Robert Carabasi, Mr. Jess Clayton Cole, Mr. Robert Johnson Frazier, Mr. Jeffrey Travis Gaut, Mr. Spencer Adam Klein and Mr. Adrian Crews Turnham, brother of the bride.

Serving the groom as ushers were Mr. Charles Johannes Beckendorf, Mr. Robert Otis Canon III, Mr. William Lamar DeLong, Mr. Michael Fuller McNamara, Mr. R. Wesley Allen Morse, Mr. Christophe­r William Renaudin, Mr. Benjamin David Roberts and Mr. Brantley Reece Williamson.

The bride is a graduate of Lamar High School in Houston and received a Bachelor of Business Administra­tion from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Kathryn was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority and is currently employed as a Senior Operations Specialist at Durbin Bennett Private Wealth Management.

The groom is a graduate of Tascosa High School in Amarillo and received a Bachelor of Business Administra­tion from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Graham was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity and is currently serving as President of Arena Industrial, Inc.

Following their honeymoon to Jackson, Wyoming the couple will make their home in Austin, Texas.
