Meridiana opens ‘fields of dreams’ in Iowa Colony City Park
Meridiana is excited to bring four new Little League baseball fields to Iowa Colony City Park, part of more than 100 acres of city parkland consisting of playgrounds, luscious green space, multipurpose fields, tennis, and volleyball courts within the Texas 288 community of new homes.
Located adjacent to the community’s lakefront Oasis Village right off Meridiana Parkway, the newly named Lions Club Ballpark features expertly manicured, allgrass fields with carefully raked dirt infields. Each field was built to Little League standards, with bleacher seating behind their respective home plates for team fans to experience.
The fields also are within walking distance to Cafe Sol, Meridiana’s on-site restaurant offering burgers, sandwiches, wood oven pizzas, soups, salads, starters and more for lunch and dinner.
Besides adding its very own “fields of dreams,” Meridiana has extended its 20-plus miles of walking and biking trails connecting the community’s neighborhoods, parks and Oasis Village.
