Meridiana’s newest park with tennis, playground now open
A new, tree-lined park and playground is now open in Meridiana’s second phase where residents of the awardwinning community south of Pearland will enjoy tennis, trails, family playground and more within walking distance of new homes.
The 5-acre Observation Park features a fenced, resident-only tennis court, trails, children’s playground with telescope, splash pad, covered sitting area, lush landscaping and ample on-site parking.
The new outdoor setting will add to the community’s more than 100 acres of parks, playgrounds and open green spaces where residents enjoy catch-and-release fishing, kayaking and canoeing. In addition, there are children’s playgrounds, soccer, volleyball, kite flying and other outdoor activities. The community is also connected by a network of more than 30 miles of paved trails for walking, jogging and biking.
Most recently, Meridiana opened four, all-grass Little League baseball fields with bleacher seating adjacent to the community’s Oasis Village. The community also is dedicated to education for all ages also offers a variety of outdoor learning labs where families can learn about the constellations, sound waves, velocity and other principles of science.
