Celebrate Christmas with St. Martin’s Episcopal Church

-

Celebrate Christmas with St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Houston as it will offer both in-person Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services as well as livestream services on Facebook and YouTube for those who will join them from home and around the country. All are welcome.

Reservations (required) for in-person Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services will open at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at bit.ly/SMEC-Reservations.

St. Martin’s will hold four services on Christmas Eve, beginning with the family service featuring a live nativity at 1 p.m. in the church. The traditional Christmas Eve services follow at 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. with the Chamber Choir, brass, tympani and Gloria Dei organ. St. Martin’s also offers an 11 a.m. Christmas Day service. Masks are required and social distancing protocols are in place.

Join online for the 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. services, with links available beginning Dec. 20 at https://stmartinsepiscopal.

The family service at 1 p.m. lasts for about 40 minutes, and features wonderful music of the season and a live nativity that is perfect for families with young children. Services at 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. create a beautiful setting for celebrating the Lord’s birth as the religious community works to make and grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.

St. Martin’s is now open for family and traditional worship on Sundays and for a noon service on Wednesdays. It continues to offer a wide range of Christian study, outreach activities and worship services online.
