Catholic Christians are called to prepare for the celebration of the birth of the Lord in the four weeks leading up to Christmas by observing the Advent season.

Traditionally, Advent is considered a time to slow down and prayerfully reflect on the meaning of the amazing gift of the Word of God taking on our flesh. During this global pandemic, opportunities to slow down and reflect are likely more prevalent for many than ever before —

Throughout December, new reflections in English and Spanish will be released on Advent Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
