LISE MARIE BEARD

1965-2020

Lise died Friday, November 27, 2020 at Memorial Hermann Hospital Sugarland after a long illness. A funeral will be held on Saturday, Dec. 19 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Catherine of Sienna Episcopal Church. We welcome virtual guests, please contact the family for the hyperlink to join the service.

Born in Pasadena, Texas on June 3, 1965, Lise graduated from Westbury High School in 1983. She attended Houston Baptist University on a full academic scholarship, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry. Lise earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and served as a medic in the army reserves at various bases including the Presidio in San Francisco.

During her career as a family medicine doctor, Dr. Beard practiced at several locations, including PairADocs, Shell

Oil Company, and International SOS in Tianjin, China.

Lise loved fastpitch softball, fishing and crabbing, and she shared this enthusiasm with her daughters. She traveled extensively throughout China, but she loved Long Island, New York the most, spending time with old friends and creating new memories there.

Lise was preceded in death by her father, William James Beard. She is survived by her mother, Judith Ann Beard; her daughters, Emily, Elizabeth, and Katherine Davidson and their mother, Alice Davidson; her sisters, Deborah Skolaski and Jamie Seymour; as well as numerous other relatives.
