Brian Folloder was born on October 16, 1946, in Houston, Texas, to Harry Folloder and Jeanette Zuber Folloder and passed away on November

10, 2020. Brian had a kind heart and a natural gift for making people feel welcome. His greatest joy was being surrounded by friends and family.

Brian was a trailblaze­r in the foodservic­e industry and ultimately helped create a nationwide foodservic­e brokerage business. He took great pride in his integrity and work ethic and eagerly shared his knowledge to assist others in their respective careers.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepmother, Muriel Selber Folloder. He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-eight years, Lindy. His memory will be cherished by his children Audrey and Michael McCarthy, Justin and Tina Folloder, Courtney Folloder and Clayton and Kathryn Folloder; his ex-wife and mother of his children, Jody Katz Folloder; stepdaught­er Eryn Garriga and husband, Jan and stepdaught­er Amber Miller. His grandchild­ren will greatly miss their “Big Daddy.” He leaves behind LillianMcC­arthy; Alex, Eli and Garrett Folloder; Jemma, Rory, Iris and Milo Folloder; Ryleigh, Aidan and Isla Garriga; Rio and Briar Rose McRee. He is also survived by his brother Mark Folloder and wife Gail and numerous other relatives and countless friends.

Brian was one-of-a-kind and known for his selfless generosity, exuberance and deep love for his family and friends. Now more than ever we need to give to those in need, so the family asks kindly that you consider donating to MD Anderson Cancer Center, Pug Rescue of Austin, or your local food bank. A celebratio­n of Brian’s life will take place at a later date.
