DONATO CAMPOSO CUETO

1954-2021

-

Donato Camposo Cueto passed away February 20, 2021. He was 67 years old from the Philippines. He was known to his friends as “Danny”, to his kids simply as Dad, Mr. Cueto to his kids’ friends & neighbors, and later to his beloved grandkids as Lolo. Danny worked hard his whole life from the ports of Batangas to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. He loved to work with his hands and took pride in building, fixing, and upgrading everything from his vehicles, home, and his hospital of which he knew inside & out. If he didn’t know how to fix it, he learned. He worked hard, but on his days off you were most likely to catch him in his garage/ man cave smoking a cigarette, ready to share a beer, a story, and a laugh (he loved a good dirty joke) with his family & friends. He was there for everyone, including neighbors and his kid’s friends (becoming a second father to them all). He is survived by his wife, Lucille, his kids: DonnaLynn, Lloyd, and Allen, as well as a SIL, Reynold Mark, and a DIL, Jeanetta Davis. Also, his grandkids: Leila, Jack, Lorelei, and Lana; and his brothers & sisters: Zeny, Johnny, Lenny, Ollie, Vhirgie, Nick, and Aliw.

Per his wishes he will be cremated and will remain with his family. There will be an informal Celebration of Life Memorial Day for his loved ones in his favorite place, his garage, on Saturday, March 6, 2021. Starting with a small prayer at 11am, all are welcomed to pay their respects to his ashes and family. Please wear a mask & social distance.
