Samuel Isaac Roberts tragically passed away in Houston, Texas on March 12, 2021. He was 32 years old. Samuel, or “Sam” as many called him, had a sweet and caring demeanor, as well as a great sense of humor, always making those around him laugh. Samuel grew up in Southside Place where he spent his adolescenc­e attending the Southside Place summer camp and would later lifeguard at the Southside Place Pool during his teenage years. He was an Internatio­nal Baccalaure­ate graduate of Mirabeau B. Lamar High School, and then subsequent­ly attended Southern Methodist University and the University of Houston. Samuel was preceded in death by his grandfathe­r, Russell Sutton; grandparen­ts Jack and BJ Roberts, and; brother, Stephen Samuel Roberts.

He is survived today by his parents, Don and Karen Roberts; older sister, Kelly Bryant and husband Stephen Bryant, and their children

Minnie, MillieBeth, and Harrison; older brother, Benjamin Roberts and wife Laura Venta, and their daughters Penny and Lydia; younger brother, Joseph Roberts, and; grandmothe­r, Virginia Sutton. Samuel’s family thanks the friends and colleagues that showed him kindness, love, and compassion as he struggled with his mental health. We will celebrate Samuel’s life on March 27, 2021.
