ROSALIE JONES

1931-2021

Rosalie Jones (Jacobs) went to be with Jesus on September 13, 2021. Rosalie was born March 30, 1931, in Wharton, Texas to Silas and Francis Jacobs (Wisneski). Rosalie married the love of her life Kenneth (K.L) Jones and they were together over 60 years before her passing. Kenneth was an avid coon hunter, and they took many memorable trips together. They had three children who they raised in the Spring Branch/Spring Valley area of Houston. Donna Jones- Murphy (Mike), Kenneth (Bubba) Jones (Alex) & Terri Jones. She had two granddaughters whom she adored. McKenzie Lauren Jones & Mallory Nicole Jones. Before Rosalie got sick, she loved to fish, gamble, cook (she was a great cook) and work in her yard. For many years she owned and operated Jones Landscaping Company where her clients quickly became her friends. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Silas, and Francis Jacobs (Wisneski), her brothers Lester Jacobs, Louis Jacobs, Robert Jacobs, and Billy Jacobs. Sisters

Marie Thompson (Jacobs) and Dorothy Parker-Janko (Jacobs). She is survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Rosalie was very close to her three children and enjoyed all the time they spent together.

They truly were best friends, and their bond shall live on with Rosalie watching over them. Rosalie was a strong-willed woman who loved to decorate her home for every holiday. Her home always looked like something out of a magazine. Rosalie made a lasting impression on everyone she met, and her legacy will live on. She will be missed so much but we know she is in the arms of God who welcomed her home with those sweet words, Well done thy good and faithful servant. You have fought a good fight: you have finished the race! Rosalie did not want a funeral. The immediate family will have a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that you make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in Rosalie Jones’s name. She is Forever Loved and Forever in our Hearts!
