Julia Ann McMillian, aged 90, passed away Thursday evening, September 9th 2021 in Spring, TX. By her side at the end was her loving husband of 71 years, Joe McMillian. Julie had the constant loving company of her family.

“Julie” was born in

Houston, TX on June 22, 1931. Julie was an incredibly talented woman. She was a prolific painter that was very skilled at taking an image and making it come alive with her paintbrush on a canvas. She was also gifted in sewing, stitching, and crocheting. Julie was the consummate Southern lady that loved the kitchen from baking pecan

pies, birthday cakes and biscuits to making homemade jams. Another passion of Julie’s was the outdoors. She tended to her garden with such care and dedication maintainin­g beautiful roses, a variety of vegetables and even birds with her birdfeeder­s. Julie was as beautiful as she was talented. Her beauty, elegance and sweetness were captivatin­g.

She is survived by her husband, Joe and their three children, Debbie, Scott and his wife, Reina, and Mickey. She had five grandchild­ren, Natassia, David, Dawn, Autumn and Vail and four great-grandchild­ren. She is also survived by sister Cecile Hanus. Julie was the light of her family’s life, but more than anything she was the love of her husband’s life. Wherever Joe went Julie went, wherever Julie went Joe went. Their real life love was like a fairy tale love for 71 years. Julie McMillian’s memory is a blessing.
