Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene Realtor Diana Hu has performed her job committed to the highest level of service since 2005. Hu said that her business varies between the Energy Corridor and Spring Branch, but also the greater Houston area from Katy to Sugar Land, Tomball, Pearland, and The Woodlands.

She said the Energy Corridor and Spring Branch have a lot to offer residents in terms of parks, restaurants, easy highway access to Beltway 8 and I-10, good schools, and proximity to oil and gas companies.

“I found these two areas very convenient to everything,” said Hu. “It is always good time to buy in the area. There are established neighborhoods with mature trees or new constructions with vertical living.”

Hu, a Taiwan native whose first language is Mandarin, has resided in Spring Branch for 15 years. When she was 13, she lived in the Dominican Republic for high school and learned Spanish. She then graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in computer science in 1997. While working for Compaq, she then went onto the University of Houston, earning an MBA.

She began thinking about a career change, and a friend doing commercial real estate recommended getting her real estate license. Using her computer science background where she worked with software first, then computer hardware, Hu has utilized her critical skills when working with clients.

“I have computer science background, so I am very analytical. It is very helpful to help clients analyze numbers and data,” she said.

Her key personal traits include honesty and putting clients’ interests first.

“I get referrals and repeat business from my past clients,” said Hu. “The first thing that I hear from a referral is ‘my friend said that you will be honest and tell me the truth, good or bad.’ I also have a lot of patience dealing with clients. People get frustrated with the situation. I have to guide them through the process.”

Hu’s commitment to excellence has earned her recognition.

She’s been named to the Emerald Elite Level in 2014, 2018 and 2019, and the Platinum Level in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2020. Hu was also recognized as a Top Individual Producer Units for the Memorial office six times and was a Top Individual Lister and Top Individual Sales for the Memorial office for 2019 and 2020.

In her free time, Hu enjoys going skydiving.
