RYAN PATRICK MURPHY

1986-2021

-

Ryan Patrick Murphy, 35, was born April 22, 1986. Ryan, resident of Kingwood Tx., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 17, 2021.

Ryan was born in Sacramento California, he lived in many places throughout the US in his life, including Dallas, Virginia, and Reno, but loved Houston most of all.

Ryan was always learning and growing, inspiring everyone around him to do the same. He challenged us all to become the best versions of ourselves and lit up when he or anyone else talked about what they were passionate about. Ryan’s laughter could fill a room, it was so contagious and big. Ryan had a great love of music, he loved to crank up the radio and sing as loud as possible while driving. He was also a walking atlas, more reliable than Google maps, you could call him any time and tell him crossroads or landmarks and where you were trying to go and he could get you there.

He loved more than anything being a father to his son Jet. He loved watching him learn and grow, and was so very proud of his every milestone. He was also very much looking forward to marrying his loving fiancé Courtney, and continuing to build upon the wonderful life they had together.

Ryan worked for Sweden Unlimited as the Senior Shopify Developer. He was very passionate about his work and his work family. Ryan managed many political campaigns in his early adulthood, and loved the pace, pressure, late nights and crazy schedules. Later with Sweden Unlimited Ryan found a company that appreciated and celebrated his creativity and ingenuity. He was always so excited to share his accomplishments and projects with friends and family.

Ryan is survived by his loving Fiancé Courtney Rodgers, and 4 year old son Jet Murphy. Ryan was the oldest son of Karen Eileen (Sutton) and Steven Bruce Murphy. In addition to his parents his sisters, Shawna Blume, Bailey Ragsdale and Meagan Kluge, his nephews Max Blume and Logan Kluge, and his nieces Bella Blume, Faith Kluge and Heidi Ragsdale. He was the grandson of Jim and the late Patsy Sutton, and Lavonne Boyd and the late John Murphy. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He will be truly missed by all who had the honor to know him.

A celebration of life service for Ryan will be held on Saturday October 9th. Callaway Allee Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made through https://gofund.me/3d83d371
