Anglia Homes changes lives through HomeAid Heroes Program

-

HomeAid Houston, a 501 (c)(3) charity of the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA), has developed a unique program called HomeAid Heroes that offers companies the opportunity to give back to the community in a way that best suits their business. As a HomeAid Hero, the company decides how they would like to contribute. Heroes can either donate a preset amount every time they celebrate a business milestone, whether it’s the sale of a home, a window installation, closing of a mortgage, or simply donating a certain amount each quarter or year. Funds raised go toward HomeAid’s major construction or remodeling projects.

One organization that has remained steadfast in HomeAid’s mission for 11 years as a Hero is Anglia Homes LP, a Houston-based, owned and operated company that has been building quality, affordable homes that reflect the current design demands of today’s home buyer since 2009.

The management team at Anglia brings a wealth of experience within the home building industry, and most specifically, within the Houston and surrounding areas. Anglia builds in more than 30 communities which gives home buyers numerous locations from which to choose. Plans are specifically designed for functionality that meet the space and layout needs for all buyers’ requirements, with prices beginning in the $200,000s.

“The team at Anglia Homes has from day one, shared a philanthropic spirit that inspired the support of a variety of charities in the community,” said Mike Manners, company founder. “Our commitment to change the lives of those less fortunate through giving back, paired with HomeAid Houston’s mission to build transitional shelters for men, women, children, families and veterans was an easy decision.”

Over the years, Anglia Homes has donated more than $250,000 to HomeAid, making them one of the largest contributing HomeAid Heroes since the program began.

“The incredible generosity of Anglia Homes through our Heroes program is life changing for those we serve,” said Nicole Keown, president of HomeAid Houston. “It is an honor to have the support of such a successful and professional organization as Anglia. We cannot thank them enough for this incredible support.”

Other HomeAid Heroes include 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty, ASID - Texas Gulf Coast Chapter, Builders Post-Tension, C3 Building Solutions, Chesmar Homes, Datasmart/Duncan Security, Eklektick Interiors, Houston Window Fashions, Long Lake Ltd/Woodmere Development Company, Loyd Russel Homes, Newmark Homes, Ryko Development, Inc., Stanley Sales Co. LLC, TARACORP, TONER Home Matters, Tri Pointe Homes, Winfrey Design Build and Zonda.
