Born 10/28/1949 in Columbia, Adair Co., Kentucky. Passed away 4/5/2024 in Evergreen, Texas. Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Magnolia Baptist Church,

He is proceeded in death by his mother Freeda Bernice Burton Snead, father Harvey Morgan Snead, brother

Don Edward Snead, brother Harold Morgan Snead and wife Vickie and nephew

David Morgan Snead. He is survived by his wife, Frankie J. Raindl Snead - married 10/10/1970; son Eric Wayne Snead and wife Josette, children Sydney Morgan Snead and Kody William Snead; daughter Shelly J. Snead Elliott and husband Willie Frank “Trey” Elliott, children Carter Lee Elliott, Jeremiah Zac Elliott and Landon Tre Elliott; son Jayson Brock Snead and wife Tiffany, children Waylon Sam Snead, Morgan Lea Snead and Owen Brock Snead; brother -Roger Dale Snead; children Micele Snead Johnson and Arthur Snead; sister Lenora Kate Snead Scott and husband David; children Stephanie Hays Sanchez, Jessica Tomaini Winham, John Thomas Tomaini, Armond Joseph Tomaini and Stacy Scott; brother Michael Lynn Snead and wife Yvette and children Garth Snead, Cheyane Snead and Mikala Snead; Nephew – Harold Duane Snead.

Daryl served in the U. S. Army from June of 1971 until January of 1974. He was stationed in Karlsruhe, Germany where he served as E5 Sargent- Construction Machine Supervisor with the 2nd Squad, “C” Company, 79th Engineer Battalion. He earned the National Defense Service Metal and the Army Commendation Medal. Daryl was an owner/officer in the family site preparation business, Snead Site, for 45 plus years.
