Trade a jar of peanut butter for free bowling

-

Bowlero — a new 40lane bowling alley that opened last month in The Woodlands — is offering a coupon for a free game of bowling to visitors who donate a jar of peanut butter benefiting a local food bank.

“We’re trying to raise 5,000 pounds of peanut butter to benefit local needy families,” Bowlmor AMF Regional Sales Representative Donna Eyler said. “We’re an official donation drive venue and we’re working with the Market Street Noon Kiwanis Club to benefit the Montgomery County Food Bank. Peanut butter is the most requested food item; it’s easy to prepare, children love it and it’s packed with protein.”

Eyler said donations received before 5 p.m. every day now through June 22 are good for a coupon guests can use on their next visit for a free game of bowling.

The new bowling alley, known as AMF Woodlands Lanes before its recent renovation, opened May 22. Eyler said the new entertainment venue is packed most Friday and Saturday nights.

During the summer, Eyler said Bowlero is offering $3.09 games per person before 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. On the Friday and Saturday evenings, Bowlero is open until 2 a.m. with games costing $6.89 per person after 8 p.m.

Bowlero offers casual dining and a unique menu, including a 5-pound, $49 burger for the daring or those willing to do some sharing.

Classic arcade games and billiards round out the entertainment offerings at Bowlero, located at 27000 Interstate 45 North in The Woodlands. Learn more at www.bowlero.com or call 281-367-1277.
