Phillip Madison Robinson of Houston, Texas passed away on April 21, 2015. He was born November 26, 1935 in Perry, Oklahoma to William and Bessie Robinson. Phil graduated from Lamar High School and went on to the University of Houston. He became an accountant for Texas Gas Exploratio­n, Houston Oil & Minerals, Tenneco Oil and Torch Operating. He is preceded in death by his first wife of 38 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Russell. He is survived by his two sons; Steven Lewis Robinson and wife Chris, Russell Scott Robinson and wife Sharon, and the five “Love’s of His Life” grandchild­ren; Austin Taylor Robinson, William Logan Robinson, Kathryn Elizabeth Robinson, Shelby Morgan Robinson and Zachary Scott Robinson. He is also survived by his wife of 10 years Patricia Bennett Robinson, his brother Ronald Robinson and wife Janet, and his sister Judy Robinson and husband John. Phil was a great father, husband, grandfathe­r, friend, baseball coach, practical joker and most of all he just wanted you to laugh. He loved the game of “Baseball”, like his dad, playing golf with his buddies, the love of his dogs and just living life to the fullest. He will be missed by all. A visitation will be held on Friday April 24, 2015 from 5-9 PM and a funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 10 AM. All services will take place in the Main Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale with interment immediatel­y following in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Montgomery County Animal Shelter, 8535 TX-242 Conroe, TX 77385.
