Yvonne “Bonnie” Eubank Herndon passed away on the 2nd of May 2015, peacefully, with her family by her side.

Bonnie was involved in many philanthro­pic activities in the Houston community. She was a large donor to the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, Amigos Para Ninos, Ladies Go Texan, Goody Girls, Chairman of Western Art Committee and Director of the HLSR. Bonnie was a land developer in Memorial Villages. She was a member of the Board of Directors of Centurion Multistate Funeral Holdings along with other entreprene­urial endeavors. Her lifetime achievemen­t and what made her the proudest, were her children and grandchild­ren.

Bonnie resided in Columbus, Texas on her ranch with her loving husband Bob Herndon and all of their animals.

Bonnie is survived by her husband Bob Herndon, her daughter Hollie Landrith and her husband Matt, her son Chuck Janke and his wife Heather, her mother Yvonne Eubank Porter, her twin brother Jim and his wife Reda Eubank, followed by Bob’s daughters Holly and Ashely Herndon, her grandchild­ren Elizabeth, Jacqueline, Hannah and Tripp and her nieces and nephews; and the rest of her relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Forbis Wood Eubank.

Bonnie was loved by all and we will miss her dearly. The family would like to thank Bonnie’s wonderful caregivers.

A memorial service is to be conducted at one o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 8th of May, 2015 in the sanctuary of Second Baptist Church, 6400 Woodway Drive in Houston, where Dr. Ed Young, Pastor, is to officiate. Immediatel­y following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception to be held in the Deacon’s parlor.
