In 1986 they moved to Katy, TX where they enjoyed their grandchildren, made many friends and were faithful volunteers at Christus St. Catherine Hospital. Eve was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Eve never met a stranger, and memories of Eve will be cherished.

She is survived by her husband, John (68 years of marriage); daughter, Linda Smith and husband Stan of Katy, TX; son, John M. Lazarich and wife Kim of Hope, ID; grandson, Stephen Smith and wife Kelli of Eldon, MO; great grandchildren, Gracie, Claire, Rachel and Jude Smith of Eldon, MO; sister, Dorothy Morsenko of Ebensburg, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
