Miss Malori Anne May Weds Mr. Thomas Patrick Callahan Jr.

Miss Malori Anne May and Mr. Thomas Patrick Callahan Jr. were united in marriage on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at six o’clock in the evening at River Oaks Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Brother James May, the uncle of the bride, and Father Vincent Dulock, CSB. Scripture was read by Baleigh May, cousin of the bride. Music was provided by the Fine Arts Strings Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Grande Ballroom of the Houstonian Hotel with music provided by The Drywater Band. On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents, Francis and Thomas Callahan, hosted a rehearsal dinner at Mandola’s Restaurant, and the groom’s aunt, Claire Johannesen, hosted a bridal luncheon at Ouisie’s.

The bride is the daughter of LeeAnn May of Sherman, Texas and the late Randall May. The bride’s grandparents are Rowena and JC Montgomery, Anita and the late Richard Harris, and the late James May. The groom is the son of Francis and Thomas Patrick Callahan of Houston, Texas. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Marion Callahan of Hot Springs, Arkansas and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hanford Francis Farrell of Brinkley, Arkansas. Given in marriage by her brother, James Michael May, the bride wore a gown designed by Isabelle Armstrong. The Thora gown was a French floral lace column with a sweetheart neckline and side godets over an ivory silk charmeuse.

Ms. Natalie Renee May, sister of the bride, served as Maid of Honor, and Mrs. Jessica Lewis, served as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids included, Ms. Rachel Theresa Callahan and Ms. Sarah Francis Callahan, the sisters of the groom, Ms. Christine Sieczkowski, and Ms. Samantha Zorn.

Mr. Sean Michael Farrell, cousin of the groom, served as Best Man. Groomsmen included John Cowett, Anthony DeVito, Chris Malavansos, David McGowan, James Michael May, Andrew Nakamoto, Benjamin Roberts, and William Schorp.

Malori is a 2004 graduate of Allen High School in Allen, Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree in Business from Texas State University in 2007 and received her Masters in Business Administration from Texas State in 2011. She is currently employed as the Vice President of Finance by Willie’s Restaurants. Patrick is a 2001 graduate of Lamar High School in Houston, Texas. He completed his undergraduate degree in Business from the University of Notre Dame in 2005, and his Masters in Professional Accounting and his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Texas in 2006 and 2010 respectively. He currently works as an investment advisor for Callahan Advisors.

Following a honeymoon in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, the couple will reside in Houston.
