Parkway Place residents have full slate of activities

-

The new year is a great time to engage in something new and different. Always wanted to write a book or a memoir? Start it. Get a notebook and some sharp pencils or sit down at the computer and begin.

Residents at Parkway Place have filled their “to do” lists with things to begin the new year, with joyful activities that challenge their minds, make them laugh or simply expand their experiences.

Many have decided to take online classes or audit a college course. Some have begun to trace their family tree.

Others, in these changing times, discuss their solutions and concerns for the problems the world is facing.

Residents come from a wide variety of careers, experiences and education, and the conversations are thought-provoking.

Neighbors often join neighbors to visit a museum or an art gallery and many have their own hobbies that include creating carvings, artwork, needlework and performing.

Some prefer to work alone, while others form classes and groups.

Residents at Parkway Place have time for activities, events and conversation because they also enjoy lovely apartment homes with full kitchens; maintenance services; and a compassionate, dedicated full-time professional staff to assist them.

Those who would like to have time to explore something new can call Rick at 281-677-5912 and discover the beauty of living in a senior living community with no entrance fee.
