Jones’ career emerges from desire to expand education
The time to consider investing in real estate is now, since diversity in investments is key to creating and building for retirement. It is never too early to start acquiring real estate and never too late to diversify.
“Moreover, spring is the time of the year when new listings hit the market with a focus on closing before school begins in the fall. It is a great time for buyers, too. An increase in inventory helps buyers who are ready to purchase,” said Realtor Kathy Jones with Heritage Texas Properties.
Jones is a native Houstonian and knows the city well, and her ancestors have lived in and around the inner city for more than 100 years.
While she loves helping transferees relocate to Houston and has experience representing buyers and sellers in a largerthan-typical geographic area, her main focus is around the neighborhoods close to where she grew up, which is inside Loop 610, such as West University Place, Bellaire, River Oaks, Tanglewood, Memorial and the Heights.
Prior to real estate, Jones worked in her family’s insurance business from age 15-25. She handled administrative responsibilities and later became a property and casualty insurance underwriter for personal lines. This training honed her people and communication skills, as well as teaching her to identify and determine clients’ wants and needs.
Jones received her Texas Real Estate License in 1979. Her career emerged from a desire to expand her education and reach out to help customers of her family’s business who may need a professional Realtor.
All of her skills, experience and talents have led to her receiving numerous awards and honors, such as a Top Producer with Heritage Texas Properties each year since 2010. Jones also has continued her education and has received designations to serve her clients better.
Jones is known for her experience, integrity, a sincere caring for people, and going above and beyond for her clients.
“I had been a co-owner of a small, boutique real estate company started by my family when Robin Mueck, owner of Heritage Texas Properties, suggested our firms merge. Our small firm had been recognized in the industry as being innovative, professional and honest. Merging our firm with the powerhouse of Heritage Texas Properties allowed our agents to connect with a larger and more powerful form of our best. It is an honor to be affiliated with Heritage Texas Properties.”
