Bayou City Art Festival
It has become one of the rites of spring. The semiannual juried art show sets up under the trees in Memorial Park. The event showcases artists working in a mind-boggling variety of media. Galveston Historic Homes Tour
The Galveston Historical Foundation marks the 42nd anniversary of its annual homes tour. The nine historical homes on the tour include an 1893 grand Victorian home, an 1888 classic Gulf Coast cottage and a 1905 commercial building that was once home to Texas Bottling Works. Sylvan Beach Festival by the Bay

Texas Crawfish & Music Festival
More than a dozen bands, including headliner Reckless Kelly, will perform at this toe-tapping event in Old Town Spring. Festivities also include a carnival midway, a lumberjack show, artsand-crafts vendors and plenty of freshly boiled mudbugs.
