Clear Creek High School senior Madeline Castillo, recognizing how efforts to ensure hospital patients’ comfort can speed recovery, developed the #WeCare4Patients project for her Girl Scout Gold Award project.

Castillo, a member of Troop 61401, has presented the informational series to several Health Occupations Students of America clubs, health science technology clinical classes and various organizations in the Clear Creek Independent School District. In turn, HOSA collected items—toys, blankets, socks, games and books— for donation to local medical facilities.
