BALTIMORE — Pinch hitter Nolan Reimold hit a decisive two-out homer in the ninth inning after Pedro Alvarez reached on a strikeout, and Baltimore beat visiting Cleveland 5-3 on Sunday for a three-game sweep, also taking the season series from Cleveland 5-1.

RANGERS 2, ROYALS 1: Delino DeShields homered in the seventh to break a tie, and Texas beat host Kansas City. The loss dropped the Royals below .500 for the first time since May.

DODGERS 9, CARDINALS 6: Adrian Gonzalez hit a grand slam, helping Los Angeles spoil Mike Mayers’ major league debut in a win at St. Louis.

METS 3, MARLINS 0: Steven Matz pitched six innings for his first win since May, and New York took the rubber game of its series at Miami.

CUBS 6, BREWERS 5: Anthony Rizzo hit a three-run double in the seventh inning and visiting Chicago rallied from a four-run deficit to beat Milwaukee.

PIRATES 5, PHILLIES 4: Adam Frazier’s pinch-hit home run in the seventh inning powered Pittsburgh to a victory over visiting Philadelph­ia.

WHITE SOX 4, TIGERS 3 (1ST): Adam Eaton’s game-winning single in the ninth inning lifted Chicago to a victory over visiting Detroit, completing Saturday’s suspended game.

WHITE SOX 5, TIGERS 4 (2ND): Melky Cabrera drove in Adam Eaton with a game-ending single in the ninth inning to lead Chicago to its second win of the day over Detroit.

YANKEES 5, GIANTS 2: Nathan Eovaldi pitched shutout ball into the seventh inning and Carlos Beltran and Mark Teixeira hit early solo homers as New York beat visiting San Francisco.

ROCKIES 7, BRAVES 2: Trevor Story lined his fourth homer in three games and Tyler Chatwood allowed one hit over five innings as host Colorado swept Atlanta.

RED SOX 8, TWINS 7: Hanley Ramirez and Travis Shaw each hit three-run homers as Boston beat visiting Minnesota to earn a split of a four-game series.

BLUE JAYS 2, MARINERS 0: J.A. Happ and three relievers combined on a one-hitter, Edwin Encarnacio­n hit a solo homer, and host Toronto beat Seattle, avoiding a three-game sweep.

ATHLETICS 3, RAYS 2: Billy Butler hit a tiebreakin­g home run off Erasmo Ramirez with one out in the eighth, and host Oakland held on to beat Tampa Bay to complete the sweep.

PADRES 10, NATIONALS 6: San Diego hit back-to-back homers off Shawn Kelley in the eighth and scored four runs off Jonathan Papelbon in the ninth to win at Washington.

DIAMONDBAC­KS 9, REDS 8: Paul Goldschmid­t’s solo home run in the fifth gave Arizona the lead for good, and the DBacks finished with four homers in holding off host Cincinnati.
