ATLANTA BRAVES

RHP Tyrell Jenkins was optioned to Class AAA Gwinnett. The rookie, acquired in the November 2014 trade involving Jason Heyward and Shelby Miller, is 2-3 with a 6.30 ERA in eight starts.

BALTIMORE ORIOLES

The team recalled RHP Parker Bridwell from Class AAA Norfolk. Bridwell replaced RHP Odrisamer Despaigne, who was optioned to the Tides after allowing four runs in three innings Saturday.

DETROIT TIGERS

OF Cameron Maybin (thumb) was activated from the disabled list after feeling comfortable in a simulated game.

LOS ANGELES ANGELS

LHP Manny Banuelos has agreed to a minor league contract with the team following his release by the Atlanta Braves.

• RHP Huston Street has gone to Texas to seek a second opinion on his injured right knee and might need offseason surgery.

LOS ANGELES DODGERS

The team has recalled OF Andrew Toles from Class AAA Oklahoma City.

MIAMI MARLINS

The team has reinstated RHP A.J. Ramos from the 15-day disabled list and optioned reliever Brian Ellington to Class AAA New Orleans.

MINNESOTA TWINS

The team has recalled RHP Pat Light, who was acquired from Boston on Aug. 1, from Class AAA Rochester, where he had a 2.57 ERA in six outings.

He appeared in two games for the Red Sox this season, giving up seven runs in 22⁄3 innings.

SEATTLE MARINERS

After a solid rehab start Saturday at Class AAA Tacoma, LHP James Paxton (left elbow contusion) is expected to rejoin the rotation and likely to start Thursday at the Chicago White Sox.

• RHP Taijuan Walker, sent to Class AAA Tacoma on Aug. 8 after going 4-7 with a 4.10 ERA in 17 starts, could start for the team Tuesday.
