Dick’s plans to hire hundreds in area
Dick’s Sporting Goods is looking to hire 760 sporting enthusiasts to staff six stores that will open in October across the Houston area.
The Pittsburgh-based chain plans to hire 100 people each at Baybrook Mall and The Shops at Park West, 150 people each at Willowbrook Mall and The Woodlands Mall, 140 people at Deerbrook Mall, and 120 people at First Colony Mall.
Dick’s Sporting Goods will hire an additional 200 employees for two stores that will house Field & Stream and Golf Galaxy stores under the same roof. The Baybrook Mall and The Shops at Park West stores each will hire another 70 Field & Stream employees and 30 Golf Galaxy employees.
