Everyone has a voice at The Hallmark

-

According to research, residents in senior living communities are beginning to see themselves as “investors,” with valuable input in how their communities are run.

At The Hallmark, monthly Fireside Chats have addressed the desire of our residents to be heard for many years.

Residents submit their questions and concerns about the community every month to Rachel Stevens, executive director. From these, Stevens creates a PowerPoint and brings these issues up for discussion with attendees.

Management also provides important information regarding the community during the Fireside Chats.

“Many of our residents have lifetimes of leadership in government, academia or business,” Stevens said, “and continue to make valuable contributions to our community.”

In addition to monthly chats, the Residents’ Association meets quarterly, and a Residents’ Association Advisory Committee meets bimonthly with Brazos Presbyterian Homes board members.

The Hallmark, being a small, boutique luxury senior living community, has always helped to ensure that all residents have their say today and for years to come.
